Discos El Popular is known for its expert curation and provides access to rare and extremely hard to find records for the music enthusiast and DJs directly imported from Colombia. Rare record gems that carry a history behind each record. Discos El Popular came to Oliver Mann as a new start up company and entrusted him for a new creative look to brand the company's message. Oliver focused on the uniqueness of the story and concepting and creating various content to highlight the brand. Execution 1: DJ Series: Jeremy Sole (Vertical Portait) A vertical portrait filmed in California featuring Jeremy Sole discussing his connection to rare Colombian vinyl and how Discos El Popular compliments the experience. The piece follows him receiving the records, bringing them into his home, and exploring how these sounds influence his work as a DJ and user. Creative Direction: Oliver Mann Starring: Jeremy Sole and Mij Originally published on Instagram via @discoselpopular Execution 2: The Record Hunter (AI Commercial) An experimental AI-driven brand commercial imagining a fictional journey through the Colombian jungle in search of rare records. The story follows a record hunter navigating rivers, wildlife, and dense landscapes to uncover a lost piece of musical history. Creative Direction / Director: Oliver Mann The Record Hunter is the first installment in a monthly short film series exploring the mythology of discovering rare Latin vinyl to excite the consumer to discover the brand and its current followers/subscribers.

Heart to Heart

Heart to Heart approached Oliver Mann as they needed a creative new look and branding. Oliver teamed up with the owner to first know the backstory of the company. With that his ideas and leadership lead to having a new dated website which they have not had in 10 years. We also created warm AI materials with caregivers and seniors to showcase the brand using the newest technology. We also designed the shirts for the caregivers and new logos to implement on the website to have a variance. All following the color scheme and backbone of the company..
